German Ambassador tells British to stop carrying a grudge about all that Nazi stuff

Thomas Matussek, the German Ambassador to London, wants the British to forget about those unfortunate events 60 years ago.

Matussek says Germany and Great Britian are drifting apart because of dangerous misconceptions being taught to British children about Germany.

Could Germany be getting jumpy? They’re dilinquent on their “attack something every half century or so and then get our ass kicked” habit, so maybe they’re getting the shakes.

A while back, I wrote a spoof piece called “Decline in German alcohol consumption marks continued good news for Poland“, but judging by the way Matussek’s talking, they may have fallen off the wagon.
