CT scan reveals King Tut wore eye makeup?

Egyptian scientists gave a CT scan to the mummified remains of the famous pharaoh Tutankhamun, thought to be the 12th ruler of the 18th dynasty. They concluded that King Tut died from gangrene which developed after a broken leg.

What’s even more amazing is that they could tell he wore eye makeup. A computer generation of what the King may have looked like based on the remains was made public. Take a look at King Tut. Is this for real, or did they let the pictures be designed by the Egyptian computer guy who’s in his late 30’s, thin, single, neat, and uses the term “fabulous” more than once a day?

It looks more like the poster for “Tut on Broadway”, but we’ll have to take them at their word that lip gloss existed 3,300 years ago.
