It’s Friday– time for the “liberal bumper sticker of the weak”

As a big fan of bumper sticker, I’m always on the lookout for a good anti-war, anti-Bush, anti-nuclear, and anti-common sense slogan.

I saw this one last night on a woman’s car:

“When Jesus said ‘love your enemies’, he didn’t mean kill them”

That’s absolutely correct. Oh, and what happened to Jesus?

It’s a good thing the Allied Powers in WWII didn’t all stick to the teaching of the bumper of this woman, or Jews would still be forced into gas chambers to this day, along with countless other examples of historical horrors that would have perpetuated if it weren’t for those who we honor on this Veterans Day.

Does that mean that anybody who has ever killed anybody cannot be Christian? If so, this woman owes her freedom to a bunch of Pagans, and can a good liberal Christian accept such a gift from Pagans without compromising her religion? I’m guessing no.

As far as liberal road literature, this one’s still one of my favorites though:

…and there’s no slogan distracting enough to hide the fact that you don’t have a license plate, Skeeter-Bob. Pull it over!

Note: My first book, “‘Because That’s the Way God Decided to Do It!’ – A conservative father fields confusing questions from his confused kids about a confusing world – Inadequate explanations of politics, parenting, economics, war, technology, and the future of the human race” is now available in paperback or as a downloadable Ebook. Click here to buy directly from Booklocker. It’s also available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

I’ve set up a page containing short samples from each chapter. Click here for chapter samples.
