The United Nations “Committee Against Torture” has called on the United States to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. They’ve also said that detainees should not be sent back to countries where they might be tortured.

What then, should be done with terror suspects housed at Gitmo? In today’s column, I expand on a plan originally put forth here on the blog a couple of days ago: Send them to the U.N.
