The Washington Times has a column today analyzing who are the likely candidates for the Republican nomination.
The consensus? Well, the consensus is that there is no consensus. History isn’t loaded with two-term VP’s who didn’t run for president afterwards.
For the Republicans, will it be Guiliani? McCain? Mitt Romney? Bill Frist? Mel Gibson? (Just seeing if you’re paying attention)
As for the Democrats, Hillary is anything but a shoo-in, and her phonyÃ‚Â moves to the right have angered her base, which was tough to do because they were already angry.
One thing’s for sure. This won’t be as easy as last time, when I successfully predicted the Dem nominee based on the best hair.
With no clear front-runner on either side,Ã‚Â the race forÃ‚Â both nominationsÃ‚Â is going to be baffling, confusing, hilarious, frustrating, satisfying, and insane.
Get ready. This is going to be more fun than watching Anna Nicole Smith try to negotiate the child-proof cap on a Vicadin bottle.
