If you go to Google News and search under the terms “billion dollar lawsuit,” you’ll find at the top of the list Google itself, which is being sued for a billion bucks by Viacom.

Google bought YouTube (the specific target of the lawsuit) in November of ’06 for $1.76 billion, and YouTube has been plagued by copyright infringement problems practically since its inception.

No doubt Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin are scraping up money from under their couch cushions so they can offer Viacom a reasonable settlement.
