As you’ve probably heard, Al Gore was in Washington, DC today lobbying to have you taxed more and for you to change the way you live. Gore skipped the Republican’s opening remarks, and then entered the room and called for bipartisanship. Nice.
Then Gore refused to live within the same “carbon footprint” he’s asking the rest of us to live in:
Former Vice President Al Gore refused to take a “Personal Energy Ethics Pledge†today to consume no more energy than the average American household. The pledge was presented to Gore by Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Ranking Member of the Environment and Public Works Committee, during today’s global warming hearing.
Senator Inhofe showed Gore a film frame from “An Inconvenient Truth†where it asks viewers: “Are you ready to change the way you live?â€Â
Gore’s answer: “No!” He refused to take the pledge.
How much longer can this go on before it goes from being labeled a “planetary crisis” to a “sitcom”?
