There are indeed “two Americas,” and they’re right there within a square mile of each other in Orange County, N. Carolina.
Elizabeth Edwards, wife of presidential hopeful and ambulance chaser extraordinaire John Edwards, doesn’t like her “rabid Republican” neighbor. No, not because he works for Fox News — but for other reasons.
The wife of the tolerant and open-armed liberal candidate can’t stand the gun toting Guiliani supporter who lives across the street from the Edwards’ giant carbon footprint. She’s never even met him, and she doesn’t want to.
“I wouldn’t be nice to him, anyway,” Edwards said in an interview. “I don’t want my kids anywhere near some guy who, when he doesn’t like somebody, the first thing he does is pull a gun out.”
Elizabeth Edwards and her kids then left the interview under the close watch of her hired security who will pull out a gun if they see somebody they don’t like.
