Did Republicans Steal New Hampshire… for Hillary?

nullFrom the day I first saw Bill Maher dressed as Steve “the croc hunter” Irwin for Halloween, I knew he was a man of good taste, sensitivity and conscience. So when Bill says something about the direction of this great nation, I listen — at least as intently as I would to his costume advice.

Bill Maher thinks that the Republicans would much rather run against Hillary Clinton instead of Barack Obama in the general election. He’s probably right. But did the GOP engineer Hillary’s victory in New Hampshire, as Maher implied on his program?

Maher cited polls that showed Obama way ahead in the state and then losing by a fair margin, and wonders “who profits from Hillary’s win?” Maher concludes the Republicans profit first. It doesn’t occur to Maher, on purpose or due to Freudian bias, that, who profits first and foremost from Hillary’s win is — Hillary!.

If the Republicans did scheme to engineer a Hillary win, what swine! If this is the case, I’m switching to voting Democrat, a party occupied by people with integrity who would never do something so underhanded like trying to muck up the vote totals of the opposing party. Nope. Nuh uh. Not in a million years!
