Former Bill Clinton adviser and aficionado of palate-cleansing the hallux of compensated escorts, Dick Morris, writing at the New York Post, has an interesting column about how the Clintons must strive for racial polarization if Hillary is to defeat Obama for the nomination. Ya don’t say!
Morris, who once had friends worried after he started wearing toenail polish (on his teeth), makes a telling statement, either on purpose or by Freudian slip:
By challenging Obama for the black vote – by promising to go door to door in South Carolina in minority neighborhoods, for example – Bill is highlighting the question: Will Obama carry the black vote? Of course, he will. He leads, 4 to 1, among African-Americans now.
But by making that the central question, Obama’s South Carolina victory will be hailed as proof that he won the African-American vote. Such block voting will trigger the white backlash Sen. Clinton needs to win.
Once whites see blacks voting en masse for a black man, they will figure that it is a racial game and line up for Hillary.
Point of order, Dick… maybe white Democrats will do that, but don’t paint both parties with this particular racist brush. Keep it on the left where it really belongs.
Besides, I didn’t think there were any racist Democrats. They keep telling us the racists are all Republicans. What gives?
