‘What Could Possibly Go Wrong?’: Space Edition

Why am I thinking that this might not end well? Cuba is working on a space program with Russia:

Moscow is ready to help Cuba develop its own space center, Russia’s space agency chief said on Wednesday after talks in Caracas with Venezuelan and Cuban officials, Itar-Tass news agency reported.

Russia had to step in and help out Cuba after Havana scientists reported that they were having trouble coming up with a reliable way to keep the booster rockets attached to the raft.

The Cuban government has tried many designs, but one of my sources gave me the following artists rendition of a spacecraft that will be called “Castro 13” on its way to dock with an orbiting space station:
