Barney Frank Skirts the Issue

While the CEO’s of the Big Three were in Washington being judged on how they run their businesses by a bunch of people who aren’t qualified to operate a concession stand at a county fair, House Financial Services Committee Chairperson Barney Frank responded to Rep. Shelley Moore Capito’s reference to her father’s wood paneled station wagon as a “chick magnet” this way:

“Chick magnet,” he scoffed. “It’s just not something I’d ever want to drive.”

Frank took back the comment after he found out that Capito was referring to Chick Hearn.
