You know, every time Bush starts to drag me, slowly, back on board with him, he says or does something to make me jump back into the water. This is one of those things:
“I’ve abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market system,” Bush told CNN television, saying he had made the decision “to make sure the economy doesn’t collapse.”
That’s a maddeningly illogical statement. It makes me want to go play the Norwegian game “throw a shoe at Bush” for therapy.
The game mirrors President Bush’s train of thought on saving the free market: In the game, the only way you can save Bush from being hit by a shoe is to throw a shoe at him.
