According to Rasmussen, Obama’s “approval index” has been dropping around two points a day since his inauguration.
The “Peggy Effect” kicked in sooner than I thought.
What’s the “Peggy Effect”? Here it is: Everybody who voted for Obama because of all the free stuff they’d be getting, such as the famed “Peggy the Moocher” (Obama’s freeloading answer to “Joe the Plumber”), have been running to their mailboxes for three weeks now since Obama’s inauguration and… nothing. What a letdown this must be, and it’s evidenced in Obama’s declining approval rating.
