Flashback: Milton Friedman PWNS Phil Donahue

This is one of my favorite clips that has been making a resurgence on the web thanks to the “all-you-can-spend” stimulus buffet, and it’s always worth another look and listen.

From 1979, here’s economist Milton Friedman and Phil Donahue debating “greed” and capitalism, with Phil being repeatedly run over and reduced to leftist roadkill:

Milton, I wish you could have stayed with us for at least another couple of years, because we could really use you these days.
