Limbaugh Must Be Taken Off the Air for the Good of the Economy

Probably the most laughable angle being taken by the new administration and Obama worshippers in the mainstream media is this “outrage” over Rush Limbaugh saying that he wants Obama to “fail.” This “anger” is as phony as the contents of bikini tops on Malibu beaches, because, naturally, there’s an ulterior motive.

Let’s assume Obama and the Democrats are indeed genuinely angry at one man’s criticisms of their noble and selfless attempts to fix a flailing economy. Are they saying that, if Obama does indeed fail to achieve his grand visions, it will simply be because Rush Limbaugh didn’t want it to work? The ability to single-handedly ruin the economic recovery of the United States is an awful lot of power to assign one man with a microphone and no congressional vote or Constitutional ability to shovel around taxpayer money.

What are the odds: that Democrats are really ceding that much power to Limbaugh, or are they simply looking for a scapegoat when the inevitable happens? If their trick is to work; a little of both. The only goal of the Democrats is to ensure that the blame isn’t cast on a bad plan on the part of Obama and Congress, but rather on the sinister supernatural powers of a talk radio host.

The reason Democrats are pretending to lose bowel control over Limbaugh’s opinion is so they can blame Rush — and those who agree with him — when Obama and the liberals who run Congress do indeed “fail.” When the economy continues to tank, unemployment rates skyrocket, the inflation rate makes us long for the steady economic years of the Carter Administration and the stock market plunges so far that traders will be wearing SCUBA gear by the end of the year, it’s going to be somebody’s fault, and it won’t be the fault of Obama and Congress.

At this point the Fairness Doctrine, or some semblance thereof, will be once again shoved down the throat of the First Amendment. After all, Democrats can’t heal the economy until Rush Limbaugh is off the air. Right? Just wait, that’s the road down which this is all headed.

My opinion of this entire thing is that it’s being set up as a way for the government to crap on the First Amendment under the guise of protecting “the health of the economy.” This is one way totalitarian states are conceived.
