Jason Mattera, who says he lives in Brooklyn and as such is a Charles Rangel constituent, recently approached the New York Rep. and asked him why he leases a Cadillac that costs taxpayers over $750 a month.
What was Rangel’s response to one of the people whose tax money is paying for his car? “Why don’t you mind your goddamn business”:
Last May, Rangel’s reasoning for driving such an expensive car was… get this — Driving a cheaper car would be a sign of disrespect to his constituents!
I’m sure they’re grateful, Charlie.
Ivory tower swine at its oinkiest.
