Monday’s Column: All Things Tea Party

On Wednesday, many more “tea parties” will take place around the country (here’s a map that really highlights the spread of the movement to reel government back in).

I’ve read and heard plenty of Democrats and others mocking the movement, calling it a “tantrum” instead of a protest, and others are asking “What’s the point?” I can’t speak for everybody, but today I discuss a little about why I’m going to show up on Wednesday (though I’m not the “sign carrying” type, I will be present, camera in tow, to help spread the word).

Give a read to “Fight for your right to tea party” for the whole story. You can give it a “Digg” here.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Monday.
