Bill Clinton Disappointed to Find Himself in ‘Pyongyang’ — Thought Obama Said He Was Sending Him to ‘Poontang’

Refresh my memory… which Clinton is the Secretary of State?
Former President Bill Clinton met Tuesday with North Korean leader Kim Jong Il on the first day of a surprise mission to Pyongyang to negotiate the release of two Americans, holding “exhaustive” talks on a wide range of topics, state-run media said.
Hopefully Clinton can secure the release of the two women. He doesn’t have much of a bargaining chip though, since he already gave all our secrets to China, but I wish him luck nonetheless.
As happy as I’ll be to see those reporters released to Bill Clinton, I can’t help but think they’re in for a long flight home.
Update: In spite of the jokey title to this post that insinuates Obama sent Clinton to N. Korea, Clinton’s people insist it was a private visit. However, that’s not likely. As Former U.N. Ambassador Bolton said, “There’s no such thing as a private trip when you’re the former president and your wife is the secretary of State.”
Update II: Kim Jong Il will release the two journalists. A question: What was Bill authorized to offer on behalf of the U.S. for the release? Psycho-runt certainly didn’t let them go unconditionally.
