Jimmy Carter is black and I’m a racist. I draw this conclusion based on this criteria: I thought Carter never should have been president, I feared his presidency, and I disagree with almost everything he says and the direction in which he thinks this country should head. And according to Carter, if you’re white and disagree with a Democrat’s politics, it’s only because that person is black:
Former President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday that U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson’s outburst to President Barack Obama during a speech to Congress last week was an act “based on racism” and rooted in fears of a black president.
“I think it’s based on racism,” Carter said at a town hall held at his presidential center in Atlanta. “There is an inherent feeling among many in this country that an African-American should not be president.”
The Georgia Democrat said the outburst was a part of a disturbing trend directed at the president that has included demonstrators equating Obama to Nazi leaders.
Carter forgets that the Speaker of the House equated demonstrators to Nazis, but that’s an exclusion of convenience no doubt. Nancy Pelosi is just a powerless victim in all this. (click here to see examples of the polite, inoffensive signs completely free from any Nazi comparisons that the left carried during Bush protests)
And while Congress, Carter and many in the media try to paint Joe Wilson as a white hood wearing racist, the Democrats have in their midst a former Klansman who is 3rd in line to the presidency and yet have the audacity to hurl racism charges at a guy who hollered “you lie” at somebody who was lying?
Using Carter’s ironclad logic concerning the reason I disagree with politicians, Nancy Pelosi is black, Harry Reid is black, Hillary Clinton is black and Barney Frank is black. Who knew? Hell, if tea partiers are racists, then King George must have also been black. Obviously the root of this racism runs clear back to the American Revolution.
Here’s Jimmah embracing the left’s tactic du jour, which is avoiding defending your ideas on their merits and constitutionality and just parroting “racist” every time anybody questions your motives:
What this makes black people who disagree with Obama (yes, there are quite a few) is anybody’s guess. Are they racist? And if so, how come they hate themselves so much?
None of this is about black and white — it’s about green and red. You want to keep your green, and they want to take it while driving ours and future generations deep into the red. Don’t take your eye off the green and red and get distracted by the black and white — it’s exactly what the left wants.
Jimmy, stop lecturing about ending “racism” — don’t you have some Jew-hater enabling to attend to overseas?
Update: If you need more evidence of the kind of people Jimmy Carter appeals to, try this: Osama Bin Laden recommended one of his books.
