Computer Freakout

Pardon the delay in posting this afternoon… my superfine Acer notebook that has been a good friend for almost five years is in critical condition, and its chances don’t look good. I can’t even boot it into “safe” mode. I had an issue with malware a few weeks ago and it was never the same since.

I’m writing this on a Compaq “laptop” that’s been stored here for over eight years, is about the size of a small briefcase and hasn’t had a software update since Bill Clinton’s last month in office.

I’ll spend the rest of the afternoon performing CPR on the Acer, but I’m not optimistic.

If I can’t get it going I’ll just take it out back and give it an Office Space style sendoff:

    Come on, no need for the baseball bat treatment. Try contacting computer support in bristol. They should be able to help you. They did wonders for me.

    Computer freak-out? I am not freaking out of the computers because I am already used to it now. I am not sure if this is going to be so good and awesome. real estate careers long island
