The list has been pared down to a few finalists, among them: Nancy Pelosi, Ben Bernanke, Steve Jobs, Usain Bolt, Barack Obama, General McChrystal, and “the Chinese Worker.”

They were going to choose the American worker, but they couldn’t find any. Time did at least manage to find an American guy named Jobs.

Part of the list almost sounds like a news headline describing a political and economic cause and effect: “Obama, Pelosi, Bernanke; Jobs Bolt”:
