None of this is surprising in the age of Hope and Change. We can’t expect somebody who has spent so much time instinctively avoiding having his own dots connected to be in charge of something that relies on logical dot connection in order to succeed.
Besides, an administration unable or unwilling to understand why pushing terrorists into civil trials is a horrendously bad idea is incapable of connecting the dots on these issues, or of leading anybody else to do the same.
