“Here he comes to save the daaayyyy!”

John Kerry, fresh off hip replacement surgery that could result in another Purple Heart for the Massachusetts Senator, is coming to Martha Coakley’s rescue, along with Bill Clinton (don’t wear your blue dress, Martha).

From Fox News:

Sen. John Kerry is rushing to the aid of Democrat Martha Coakley in the race for the Senate seat once held by Ted Kennedy, making a last-minute fundraising and get-out-the-vote push as her Republican challenger closes in.
And he plans to campaign for Coakley alongside former President Bill Clinton Friday…

With Republican Scott Brown closing the gap and the election next Tuesday, the Dems know that a Coakley loss would mean the end of their 60 votes in the Senate for Obamacare, and that’s what the added panic is all about.

Just in case, the Democrats are falling back on their preferred tactic: Thuggery:

Update: If Brown manages to pull off a miraculous comeback win, this Doug Flutie endorsement will be the perfect symbolism.

Send In the Clowns! Bill Clinton is showing up too! His comment about Zero was way worse than Reid's – do you think it will sit well with Mass. voters? From what I am reading – not much. I think Scott Brown's comment that the seat belongs to the people of Mass is getting widespread play and Coakley's cozy fundraiser with lobbyists is showing the voters just what the Democrats are trying to do. They play us for fools but average every day Americans are seeing the light. Go Scott Go!!!
