ACORN Will Close Offices On…

April 1st. Hmm, that date rings a bell for some reason:

The once mighty community activist group ACORN announced Monday it is folding amid falling revenues — six months after video footage emerged showing some of its workers giving tax tips to conservative activists posing as a pimp and prostitute.

“It’s really declining revenue in the face of a series of attacks from partisan operatives and right-wing activists that have taken away our ability to raise the resources we need,” ACORN spokesman Kevin Whelan said.
[…]
ACORN’s board decided to close remaining state affiliates and field offices by April 1 because of falling revenues, with some national operations will continue operating for at least several weeks before shutting for good, Whelan said Monday.

So in the same month that the liberals/socialists passed the most sweeping takeover of the private sector ever against the will of the people and Marxists are more motivated and pumped up than they were when Das Kapital was released as a book-on-tape, one of their greatest assets in achieving these kinds of underhanded, unconstitutional and crooked goals both now and in the future just happens to go out of business?

Does anybody else think that was way too easy?

ACORN will be back — the only remaining question is what they’ll be called (they’ve already changed their name in New York and California). Either that or on April 1st, the day ACORN’s supposed to close their doors, Obama will emerge from an ACORN office and say “April Fool!”
