Okay, he didn’t exactly say it the way he did to Tea Partiers, but Obama certainly implies that gay rights advocates should be thanking him (and Barbara Boxer) instead of heckling.

I think the hecklers are in more of a snit over Obama’s stance on gay marriage than the slowness in repealing “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.”

You’ve got to love it: “You wanna come up here?” Sounds like TOTUS was in the mood for a slap-fight. If so, it was dangerously close to being charged with a hate crime:

My own theory is that gay rights advocates thought they had more of a friend in the president after seeing how he throws a baseball.

    "Slap fight"? You must have meant 'tickle fight', as the Chicken-in-Chief has probably never slapped anyone in life, a fact the Iranians are well aware of.

    Joe, Eric Massa has a copyright on "tickle fights" so I had to go with slap fight or else get hit with an infringement lawsuit.
