Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s days as the least attractive member of the Supreme Court appear to be numbered — all we can hope for now is that Ginsburg’s days as the most liberal member aren’t.

The AP is reporting that at about 10 a.m. Obama will nominate Elena Kagan to fill the opening on the Supreme Court.

And this part of the story isn’t a good way to start a Monday:

At 50 years old, Kagan would be the youngest justice on the court, which would give her the opportunity to extend Obama’s legacy for a generation.

Oh great. I don’t even want to extend it for 2 1/2 more years.

Kagan is a former dean of Harvard Law School. How wonderful. More Ivy Leaguer brilliance — that all we need.

The Huffington Post is relaying the news that Kagan is “supremely intelligent.” Uh oh.

Michelle Malkin has a lot more details about Kagan, as does Gateway Pundit — aside from that she looks like a… ya know… let’s just say Kagan looks like she gets invited to Martina Navratilova’s slumber parties.

Update: Here’s a list of Kagan’s political donations. What a surprise. Maybe the most telling of that list of people and PACs Kagan supports is ACTBLUE, which is a far left-leaning, netroots-driven PAC dedicated to supporting the “progressive” wacko Grayson-esque wing of the Democrat Party — if that isn’t a redundancy.

The Boy-King is going to stack the bench with radical leftist judges that will serve on the court for decades to come. You watch, next year Ginsberg will annouce her retirement and he will appoint another young leftist. This is the most dangerous part of having someone like Obama in the White House.

So all the Harriet Myers haters…I can only assume they will throw a fit about this selection too. Nah..I didn't think so.
