If I didn’t know better, I’d say “get the waterboard ready,” because the man who takes “an eye for an eye” way too literally and who could know the whereabouts of Bin Laden (if he’s even alive, which I doubt) may have been captured — though we’ve seen many of these “so-and-so captured” reports that turned out to be not true.
From Brad Thor at Big Journalism:
Through key intelligence sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan, I have just learned that reclusive Taliban leader and top Osama bin Laden ally, Mullah Omar has been taken into custody.
According to the State Department’s Rewards for Justice Program there is a bounty of up to $10 million on Omar for sheltering Osama bin-Laden and his al-Qaeda network in the years prior to the September 11 attacks as well as the period during and immediately thereafter.
If this is true, you’d think Obama would be tripping over his teleprompters to get to a podium for a news conference (no questions, please) by now.
One report says that Omar was captured just so Obama could appoint him to the Supreme Court, though that’s unconfirmed at this point.
The question remains: If Omar has indeed been captured, will the Obama administration order him to be Mirandized?
