Today’s contestant is Julia Reed, Contributing Editor for Newsweek, who said about Obama, “If he thinks that some guys on the rigs are the only people that are going to be affected by a six-month oil moratorium, he’s out of his cotton-picking mind.”

She’ll be given a pass by the tight-sphinctered racial-slur police, just like Dan Rather was for his “watermelon” comment, but just imagine the outrage if Sarah Palin said this:

Is that a MSNBC audition ?

Speaking of Miss Sarah, she did it again here in Oklahoma this time. She is endorsing Mary Fallin for governor, the less conservative candidate. The conservative Republican in the race is Randy Brogdon.

Good Morning OK – It does make you wonder what she is thinking sometimes. Who is advising her on making these endorsements? Perhaps Mike Steele?

Here is a great example of the media bias. Even though it's a joke it still highlights what goes on daily.

At least some on the left are starting to criticize the Boy-King. The "cotton-picking mind " remark should have been "nappy little head ".

I did not even realize that was racially charged phrase. It seemed southern to me like saying a "New York Minute" is to New York. Besides Yosemite Sam on looney tunes used to say it frequently. So people should stop getting so uppity and relax.

Not a matter of uppity, it's the matter of the double standard!
