At the confirmation hearing for Elena Kagan yesterday, Sen. Al Franken, well aware that he’s going to vote to confirm the uber-progressive SCOTUS nominee no matter what Kagan says during questioning, had some free time, so he sketched a picture of another member of the Judiciary Committee, Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions:


Sessions saw Franken’s drawing of him, so, not to be outdone, Sessions returned the favor and sketched Franken:


Hey, that’s a good likeness.

    Now if we can get Al and the rest of the Dems to sleep through the voting process as well things will be looking up in this country.

    That's a Senator. Wow. I'm sure he earned it (maybe he was earning it in the pic) just like don't call me m'am Senator…Boxer? Feinstein?…does it matter? (leaning towards Boxer but to lazy to look)

    He sure looks old in that pic he took in college as a prank. Right? He was 19 when he did something that ridiculous? Right?
