Good news for the Gulf — BP put a new containment cap in place yesterday and it seems to be collecting almost all the oil from the leak, and hopefully can continue to do so until the relief wells cut off the flow permanently.

This is pretty amazing to watch when you remember that it’s happening a mile under water:

    Thank God !!!!

    It sickens me to see our planet being polluted like this.

    And yes this is amazing to watch at these depths. Think of the pressure that the well has to be flowing that much oil with the pressure of the depth pushing back on it. An oil engineer that my boss goes to church with who happens to work for Schlumberger told us it is like 15,000 P.S.I.
