In the summer of 2008, President Obama praised the “vastly superior” infrastructure of China.
All we need to do is look at the highway system around Beijing for proof of that superiority:

I don’t think the infrastructure of Los Angeles has ever gotten that vastly superior — except maybe when Obama’s visiting.

Wow…he said that? Maybe he should just go take a vacation there…and let THEM deal with his motor parade of minions.
I thought my commute could be hell. My sympathies to the people stuck in that jam.
And is it wrong to pray that Obama doesn't think to take a trip to my area any time soon?
Countless times being caught in traffic backups (a few hours at a time) have taught me to keep a survival kit in my truck, but how-in-the-cat-hair do you deal with 9+ days of it ??!! Photo bottom-right; the sweeper guy; he may have his job cut out for him what with no "superior" comfort stations in sight !!! EEEEEEWWW !!!!!!!
Bless all their hearts !!! Geeee Whiz !!!
