There’s an article in the San Francisco Chronicle about a Haight-Ashbury McDonalds that got rid of its dollar menu, and as a result the homeless people who hang around there can’t afford the price increase.

Below is a photo from the article. Not to be crass, but your “need food” sign will be a lot more believable if you scale in at less than a deuce-and-a-quarter.

If she could get up those steps I’ll bet she could even get a job there — heaven forbid.

That girl doesn’t need McDonalds — she needs Michelle Obama to grab her and say “Let’s move!”

McDonalds profits benefitted greatly from the dollar menu because customer counts went up. Some of those customers just happen to be the less attractive poor and homeless. PTBarnum solved his crowd issues with trick signs like "This Way to the Egress". "I wanna see the Egress, mommy!"
Me thinks perhaps the good folk in San Fran are lacking in the art of "Imaginativity" !!! Naw, better to remove their biggest menu draws !!!

Another trick sign was "See the Dangerou Skeepaway". Once outside, the circus goers found themselves looking at the fenced in electrical transformers and there on the fence was a sign that read, "Dangerous-Keep Away !"

    Proper signage – it`s what keeps `em moving !!!
