Nancy Pelosi, responding to a question from NPR about if she would step down as a leader of her party if there’s a November donkey slaughter, responded in a way that even Baghdad Bob would have said crossed the line into ridiculous exaggeration:

And we believe that six weeks from today, six weeks from Wednesday of this week we will have no regrets but instead we will have a great Democratic victory”

I’m not over-confident in a Republican sweep by any stretch (pun sort of intended), but I think it’s safe to rule out “great Democratic victory” at this point.

Question: If the Dems lose control of the House, how many people will lose their lives in the brave and noble effort to take Pelosi’s gavel away from her?

And “the word” is: Crazy

Crazy Baghdad Nan is of course denying the sound of bombs exploding outside the palace and the dust falling from the ceiling……that goes pretty much without saying. I`m curious about that hand jesture; palm toward herself….. Is that Vulcan for "may I live long and prosper !!" ?
