Once in a while the opposition provides a rebuttal to their own argument within their argument. This is one of those occasions:

“Climate change – to deny it exists, to just put your head in the sand and, ‘oh no, it doesn’t exist, what are you talking about,’ is about like standing on the floor of Macy’s during the month of December and claiming Santa Claus doesn’t exist. Come on, get real.”

It’s also like saying the Easter Bunny doesn’t exist. Get with it, climate deniers!

That's a facepalm-worthy argument right there. Even the opposition's embarrassed by the level of stupid.

How was that supposed to prove their argument? Are they saying that (a) Santa Claus exists in the traditional sense rather than being a personification of the spirit of giving in all of us or (b) that saying global warming's fraud science is like saying that Santa doesn't exist in a department store filled with little kids whose little hopes and dreams will be dashed? Most believers in the doom and gloom global warming…cooling…climate change…whatever it's name of the moment is are, allegedly, rational adults not little kids.

…and like standing on the floor of the House and claiming Conservatives don’t exist. Well, we’ll see whether climate change exists or not on Nov. 2nd.

Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny are Gore-bal Warming, not climate change.

Wait, Santa Clause doesn't exist! Damn, my life-view has totally been changed for the negative. Woes me.

"whose little hopes and dreams will be dashed?"

I'm going with that. Doesn't this only fit in hand in glove with the very parental ( read condescending ) nature of this administration? The "we know what's good for you even if you don't!" message? ( The message we were warned about forehand btw )

I'm not sure how we're supposed to feel about the Dem's self-inflicted self-implosion. Absolute bliss, or just plain embarrassed 'for' them for being so pathetic? Doesn't matter, keep up the heat!

The "bliss" angle works for me with a wee bit of schadenfreude thrown in for good measure !!! We`ve been lied to , lied about and accused of lieing too many times and ways to feel any embarrassment for them or mercy toward them !!

BTW, the existance of Santa Clause was the ONLY lie (fib) my parents ever told me – lucky , huh !!?

Or like saying the clitoris is a myth
