A section of my local paper offers a “scoop” about something I figured out when I was ten:

null

The rest of America was thinking that by the mid-1970′s. I mean, come on:

null

Bonus fun fact: There’s a 1 in 3 chance that Bert and Ernie voted Republican on Tuesday.

The only possible reason I can think of for a male to enter the bathroom while another is in the tub ( and this only under exTEN…uating circumstances ) is IF it was entirely unavoidable to put the fridge ( hence the BEER! ) any place else!

'Should' the GOP embrace these new-found Gay supporters? I don't know. Can we use the votes? Sure. Who couldn't. By the same token, could Sharon Angle have 'won' if she were an Open-Borders rubber stamp? Probably, but then she wouldn't be Sharon!

Before I get "wrapped around the axle" ( as I've been known to do ) 'I' think a much more important demographic for the GOP is the "late Boomers". We're now empty-nesters, our practices/businesses are in the TANK and our kids are grown and gone! ( Well, one 4 blocks away, the other 4 miles 'away' )

We now have the TIME to get involved! In fact.., we've nothing 'but' it.

With the loss of Jim Henson, Sesame Street lost its Captain and Navigator ! (just my impression) SS has never been the same ! I still mourne the loss of Warner-Bros. cartoon voice-man Mel Blank (sp.?) Look at the changes at Disney after Walt went on to his just reward !

    What was that about "axel-wrapping", M_W ?

Really? This is just sad. Does that mean that every apartment shared by fictional characters houses gay people? (see Odd Couple, Kate & Allie, Perfect Strangers, etc.) I'm really sick of this 'Bert and Ernie are gay' thing. Don't we have bigger fish to fry?
