Well, Johnson loved God… until God made him drop what would have been a game-winning catch in overtime:

God must have been playing free safety for the Steelers on Sunday:

Let's be serious. And luck had his share of blame. He failed if something was not lucky with the cart. In this life you must learn and lose. Just so you become stronger.

So now "entitlement" includes catching a football via God? I thought that is what you got paid to do Steve. Perhaps an adjustment in pay is warranted instead of whining about your 24/7 devotion and thinking you will get something in return. As Deborah Barrone would say – IDIOT!!!

Vote for Algore? ( probably )

OT but I think Portland is still pretty much in shock that 'anyone' would want to throw a monkey wrench in their Social Justice-Utopia? "We're such 'nice' people?" Well.., 'nice' ( so long as you subscribe to their total package/centrally-planned version of 'reality'? )

For those that may not be regular vistors here, having a W-bumper sticker is a sure-fire way to get your car KEYED! What makes it 'more' remarkable ( is that it was a 50 year old that likely did it! ) There's absolutely ZERO empathy from the surrounding/rural areas( and without overstepping my bounds? ) a fair amount of schadenfreude.

Maybe you're not as great as you thought, Stevie. What you're SUPPOSED to learn is humility.

Huzackley !! So often I thank God that I live just safely west of the S.F. of the East Coast ! We have it ALL except the terrorism !

Keying occurs here as well, that`s why my most "controvercial" stickers (bought or hand-made) are on magnetic sheet ! Take them off – rotate – alternate as the occasion or mood prescribes !

It seems, the "entitlement mentality" knows no bounds !

DITTO – +1 – spot on – Hammer, meet Nail ! Humble pie with no whipped cream !

Right, just before the break, Doug featured The 20 Most Liberal Cities and I was surprised to see ANY mention of NC!? Welcome to "The Bluing Effect" I guess?

Recent transplants that bring their twisted version of politics/social justice ( even tho' 99% of them worked for an 'evil' corporation just weeks prior ) I used to see this kind of thing ALL the time cold-calling. Some former techie leaves the Bay Area ( evil stock options in hand! ) settles down in East Jesus, MT ( opens "art gallery" ) and instantly becomes The Lib To End All Libs.

That's really what this is all about folks. So many Boomers that feel 'snubbed' by their former employer, they lash out at The Man/System every way they can. And find a willing accomplice and welcoming arms in the DNC. Why do you think all this Social Justice garbage cropped up all of a 'sudden'? Instant and ENDLESS recruits!

It's become the bane of Oregon as well. ( Trust me, you don't want your town/state on any of those Money Magazine "Top 10 Places To Retire" lists! )

The short-term economic shot in the arm isn't worth the long-term loss of state identity. People find this hard to believe but up until the late 70's ( OR was actually -quite- conservative! ) That's now a distant memory.

Just about every state figured on getting their share of the "affluent retiring boomers" (read expansion of tax base) and bent over backwards to accommodate them ( unfortunately ) in every way! No sophisticated NYC/Boston/Chicago "metrosexual" wants to be "surrounded by ignorant rednecks". Early "concessions" paved the way to open floodgates. Now it's too late.

Just a few quick observations over lunch:

Isn't it about time The Daily Show ( become the 'Weekly' Show? ) If it wasn't for a newly re-taken Rep. House.., Stewart could easily morph into The Monthly Show.

Caught Cavuto and 'guest' Heather McGee. She starts out evenly enough ( as most social justice-types are want to do? ) but barely 30 seconds in and all you're really getting is freshly spun Re-Distribution gobbledy-gook. The website above is about as slickly done as propaganda gets!

Let's go over her talking points? They only want to "do right" by an ever-shrinking middle class. Check! Republicans -alone- are responsible for the offshoring of jobs. Check! Wall Street Fat-cats create nothing and get away w/ little/NO taxes. Check! The only 'problem' w/ the Porkulus is that "it wasn't big ENOUGH!" Check!

Sound familiar? Who 'funds' these lib think tanks?

  11. SignPainterGuy on November 29th, 2010 8:08 pm

NW – SE; sounds like we are basically mirror images except for the political past leanings. Up until recently, a republican was like libs think christians should be – rarely if ever seen or heard in public ! With the rise of Glenn Beck and the Tea Party Movement (you can find someone most anywhere to talk with) the tide is turning and the libs are seen exploding with wonderful frequency !

Insert here the sound of impatient foot-tapping !

  13. SignPainterGuy on November 29th, 2010 8:30 pm

"Who 'funds' these lib think tanks?" Soros heads the list, no doubt, though it would seem they would do it for the love of it !?

Hey…I think he should have blamed Obama.

  15. SignPainterGuy on November 30th, 2010 2:55 am

At first I thought, no, he voted for Obama…then it occurred to me that he is the Obamassiah, so, yes, you`re right ! Obama IS "deserving" of the blame !

"Sooooooo, God has a Twitter account ?!"

My question exactly. Anybody know His username?
