Scene 1 from the soon to be released motion picture, “French Taunting at 37,000 Feet”:

A 34-year-old French man has been charged with assault and interfering with flight personnel after they confronted him about smoking in the toilet.

A criminal complaint filed in New York claims Franck Lebrun ‘did knowingly and intentionally assault and intimidate a flight crew member and flight attendant of the aircraft’ during a flight between Nice and New York on Saturday.

‘Lebrun appeared intoxicated and smelled of cigarettes and alcohol. Lebrun then approached a female flight crew attendant in an aggressive manner and pushed her away with both hands.
[...]
He was then handcuffed and moved to the rear section of the aircraft.

Lebrun continued to verbally abuse individuals around him, yelling ‘I’m French, f*** you!’, the document said.

The events leading up to the arrest went something like this:

That was my yearly lame excuse to post Monty Python video. We now return you to your regularly scheduled political discussion…

One of my favorite lines from RATATOULLIE , "We hate to be rude, but…. we`re French !"

We should expect rudeness and arrogance to go with their nationalized cowardice; C`est la vie !

Once a year of Monty Python is not too much, Doug, it is one of the better things to cross the pond !

Thanks, Doug! A polite reminder to our slightly delusional compatriots who, for some insane reason, think that Europeans are oh so much more refined than uncouth Americans

Thanks for the smile, Doug! Absolutely THE best character in that movie (so hard to choose just one) was the Taunting Frenchman with his outrrrrrageous accent.

"Now go away or I will taunt you a second time!"

That's what happens when civil discourse turns vitriolic; pretty soon the cows are flying and we're back to square one, civilization-wise.
