Imagine the outrageous outrage if an MLK statue was covered up during a Washington’s Birthday rally.

I’m kind of posting on the fly today but plan to be more settled down later!

    You can`t expect the NAA"L"CP to allow a depiction of an "Old,dead, slave owner" to disrupt their ongoing con game, can you ? The surprise to me is the white-haired white guy speaking !

    Doug – just want you to know, and I think I speak for all posters here (with the exception of Nick) we really appreciate this site and the fact that your talented blogging has also taken you to Michelle Malkin's site for even more exposure. I think it is great and I for one enjoy the friendship of you and all the friends here who share like minded conservative thoughts and values. We do understand when you may have to post on the fly – whether it is from your office or your favorite watering hole. Thanks for all you do! That doesn't sound to sucky up does it?

    My thoughts exactly. Or at the very least, another 'less offensive' location? Shameful. Thankfully the WZ crowd isn't fooled for a minute! They rightly note that org. hasn't given a rosy rip about MLK for a loooong, long time.

    Well SC voters? As MM notes.., "can't wait to vote more of them OUT in 2012". Obviously someone of authority signed off on this. Get his/her name, number, email and racquetball club address and HOUND them into leaving the country.

    And this while a nice lady named Gabby is fighting for her LIFE! Not exactly 'inspiring' is it? As w/ my "E'f Recycling Campaign!" don't look for me to get any more enthused about MLK Day than the Left gets about Memorial Day… or Veterans Day… or any OTHER long-held American traditions they routinely sweep under the carpet? From now on any day the Left holds 'dear' is [sadly] referred to as "Another Three-Day Weekend". Sorry guys, you brought it on yourselves.

    Thanks Nanny! Hopefully bigger and better things are in store for this site as well. Working on some stuff, and we'll see.

    Sometimes because of the dual role I don't get to post here as much as I'd like but I'm glad people are coming back here every day to keep the discussion lively. I did this for a few years pretty much for my own entertainment and it's cool that it's catching on (five years ago if I got one comment every couple of days that meant I was having a big week).

    But I had so much more fun blogging that I ditched the weekly column to focus more on the blog, and it went from there.

    For those that may have missed.., my new 'policy' is, unless and UNTIL I get Concessions of Value from the Left.., I ain't doin' Jack. No ribbons, no reverence, no nothing.

    When they start getting onboard w/ 'some' measure of respect for conservative values and traditions, then may…be I'll sort my paper, plastic and spent uranium? Say for instance, they wake up tomorrow, realize what a FOLLY Doh'care was.., I'll stop throwing empty tallboys out my car window on… Tuesdays & Thursdays?

    Naw, you said it well. In the future if you're not sure if you "sound to sucky up" let me share a joke that you can use as a scale when unsure. Do you know the difference between 'Brown Nosing' and 'Kissing Ass' ? Depth Perception. :D
