It’s pitiful whenever a program invites somebody to speak who they know has a track record for saying outrageous things, baits him into controversial comments, and then pretends to offer a sincere apology to viewers for something they had to know was bound to happen:

Cable television network TNT issued an apology late Thursday for a comment made by “30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan about former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin during a live broadcast.

Morgan made a crude remark about the key Republican’s looks during an appearance Thursday on “Inside the NBA.”

During a pre-game chat ahead of the Miami Heat-New York Knicks clash, co-host Charles Barkley asked the actor, “Sarah Palin’s good looking, isn’t she?”

Morgan replied, “Let me tell you something about Sarah Palin, she’s good masturbation material. The glasses and all of that… She is great masturbation material.”

No word yet on when MSNBC will apologize for Chris Matthews saying the same thing about Barack Obama on a nightly basis.

But really, in the realm of all the things that have been said on television about Sarah Palin that warranted an apology, this one is quite a ways down the list:

Tacky. Tasteless. And totally expected from a Hollywood Leftie like Morgan. And Sir Charles (gag) sitting there yukking it up like a 5th grader.

Was Morgan really thinking, “Oh Tina,Oh Tina…”?

Well, you dangle a fat juicy worm in front of a largemouth bass, the surprise is seeing the fish NOT take the bait !

As long as the likes of Charles Barkley have a microphone, the racial stereotype "black men sexualize women first, foremost and always", especially when they`ll be seen, will be alive and well !!

Or more simply put, it`s obvious which head does the thinking for him !!

    Pffftt… probably!

Nope, just more de-humanizing conservative women to nothing more than a glossy photo in a smut mag. ( For 'laughs' of course )

Hmm… let's see. OK-Loyalist is our resident on visual association, brain receptors and what not? Let's have a little word-association!

    Basketball?

    Ex-jocks! ( Good, good )

    Ex-jocks?

Sarah Palin..? ( otay, a little shaky )

    Sarah Palin?

M@sturba… ( wtf? ) On national television no less. Dude you suck. I won't even 'consider' renting one of your DA movies again. Vote w/ your wallets guys.

    "Or more simply put" lol

Would it have been any more/less appropriate had those questions and comments been made of Erin Andrews.., Pam Oliver? Both have been the target of sexist comments in the past.

No. Those types of comments are NEVER appropriate! Period.

No shock here. Dennis Miller has discussed this on numerous occasions. As a ex-lefty and a sports announcer, he has told of the how the sports broadcasters are the biggest hating leftists of all. Tearing the left down, begins with crippling them in the wallet, won't happen as long as the right keeps watching their sports programming.

"……NEVER appropriate ! Period." So there ! Yeah, exactly !

But that seems to make it all the more "irresistible" for some attention seekers !

Anxiously waiting the National Organization for Women to respond…….
    oh wait, Palin is a Pro-Life conservative…nevermind….

  10. Marshall_Will on January 28th, 2011 4:20 pm

    OK,

Oh absolutely. I've even caught myself in front of a Redbox machine thinking… do I 'really' need to rent this J.O's ( while we're on the topic ) movie?

You can rationalize to yourself and figure.. "Well.., it's only a 'dollar'..? Well, they add up. You may say further, "Well, I'm mature enough to seperate this funny guy and his 'politics' !" That's your inner-boredom talking to you. Tune that guy out.

Other than baseball, I HATE televised sports and I'd rather see Single-A ball than the stuporbowl, that's just me. Fight on all fronts!
