Negotiating this request sounds like a job for Jimmy Carter:

Iraq’s capital wants the United States to apologize and pay $1 billion for the damage done to the city not by bombs but by blast walls and Humvees since the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein.

The city’s government issued its demands in a statement on Wednesday that said Baghdad’s infrastructure and aesthetics have been seriously damaged by the American military.

“The U.S. forces changed this beautiful city to a camp in an ugly and destructive way, which reflected deliberate ignorance and carelessness about the simplest forms of public taste,” the statement said.

It’s too bad a knotted rope and gravity already had their way with Saddam Hussein or we could just give them him back in lieu of what the Baghdad government is asking.

Is there any way possible we can substitute Mao and his female? Please, please folks. He’s one of you, after all!

    LOL!

Yeah, would like that Farm gift-wrapped or did you want to salivate over it 'now'?

Someone's… been reading The Mouse That Roared? Any time I hear big fat round numbers like that it sounds like extortion to me but what is it worth to you to BUY these guys out of your life?

As in Haiti I'm sure every penny well spent! Brother can you spare a Bil.

Clu – Oh what sweet justice that would be – okay there Bagdaddies – not satisfied with the sh!thole your insurgents created after we liberated you – here take Saddam back and see how it all works out for you. Would love to be able to do that and see the look on their faces.

    "your insurgents created"

…? Oh 'those' insurgents yuck, yuck. And weren't the museums, art galleries and even banks stripped BARE before we even set foot on the ground?

I can't recall specifically but other than taking a dump in SH's gold plated cr@pper the G.I's didn't get 'much'. What you wanna' bet 2 yrs. after we scrawl out the check the place -still- looks like a sh!thole? It's a kickback pure & simple.

    “And weren't the museums…etc.”

    Good point.

Goes to show how honorable and honest Mo taught his practitioners to be as islamophiles. “Sharia law” is nothing more than a license to be naturally lawless. Breeding opportunistic thieves, child rapers and molesters, and to service man’s basest needs to hate, kill or maim other men.

No different from the KKK, or the Black Panthers. And yet so many people around the world and in every culture refuse to see it, including Jews. Mostly outside of Israel because being outside of Israel they are protected by other borders, oceans, or perhaps thousands of miles. The Jews within Israel don’t try to close their eyes to it or look away, they can’t.

"nothing more than a license to be naturally lawless"

Must be the case? From what little I 'know' there doesn't appear to be any statute or portion of it that can't be contradicted by a perfectly acceptable 'clause' or loophole contained within.

Thou Shall Not Kill ( unless you're really, REALLY p!ssed off! ) Then, well… what else could a "law abiding citizen" DO!?

It would be laughable if there weren't so many women, children and livestock suffering under it. You're absolutely spot on Clu, why from Lower Manhattan you can hardly hear the affected wails of Jews that are exposed to Sharia Law above the tinkle of cocktail glasses?

Weren`t we supposed to be getting Iraqi oil at discounted rates ? All I`ve heard is the occasional stories of sabotage to wells and pipelines and the left`s boring false charges of "stealing their oil" !

As far as I`m concerned, ALL of Iraq, including Baghdad, should be paying US a few $Billion !

One way to make them shut up and withdraw their idiotic demand of $1 Billion: threaten to ship Obama over there to take over as Iraqi president after he gets sh!tcanned by the American electorate in 2012.

Ppffffftt………….why wait, send him NOW !!

Believe me, I'm all for that. But I don't think we could get away with it.
