Another Campaign Promise Bites the Dust
Filed Under Politics, Unions | 12 Comments
Obama to unions in 2007: “Understand this, if American workers are being denied their right to collectively bargain when I’m in the White House, I’m going to put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself — I’ll walk on that picket line with you…”
It’s taking him a long time to find those shoes:
Besides, no comfy shoes necessary. Obama wouldn’t even have to walk. He’d be surveying the picket line from atop a royal litter carried by Chris Matthews, Richard Trumka, will.i.am and Oprah. So what’s taking him so long to get to Wisconsin?
This is as close as Obama will get to a Wisconsin picket:

If Obama can’t find the comfortable shoes, the dancing shoes he wore last night should work just fine on a picket line too — at least they couldn’t work any worse than they do on the dance floor:

"Another one bites the dust", ker splatt, "another one bites the dust" ! Did anyone expect anything else ? Or better ? Not if anyone has a functioning brain !
Those comfortable shoes worked last night about as well as Keds tennie sneaks used to make kids run farther and faster and jump higher ! They didn`t !
Nero in the White House while America circles the drain. I got mine, the rest of you are on your own.
As you can see, only weeds and insects grow in Mao’s field.
I heard today that Nero set the fires that burned Rome while he fiddled ! Remind you of a current "leader" ?
Would that be "gardening by broken promise" ?
Dancing with the Czars.
Touche`!

Yeah but that was '07. These are the early tracks off "Love It To Death" where The One could do no wrong. Like my father ( I'm a sales guy too ) and one thing Dad always said was; "Son ( never start believing your 'own' BS! )"
This guy should be working at the Verizon Call Center asking if "they have permission to review your account to see if you're getting the best possible services at the best possible price!" fer' chrissakes.
I heard a news blurb the other day, can’t remember where or when, that the congressional conservatives are going after the czars and trying to get them booted.
Mao has insulated himself by putting that ring of so-called czars between him and actually doing any work as head of state so all his time is play time. And the implication is that if this dummy has to take on actual presidential work, the government will be in worse than we’ve ever known it to be — Carter on steroids.
Gee…must be nice to be able just to throw parties for themselves..He should have just called this the "Black History Motown…party"
Obama kept bringing up the black and white stuff…but…no mention of Elvis, who actaully took the black music and brought it into the white world.
Obama extended the Patriot Act too.
I didn't think he liked that one.
Remember when the Patriot Act was first passed, the left (especially) went nuts, fearing the evil right wingers would go too far with its powers to snoop ? Some clear thinkers predicted then that the left would be happy to use those powers themselves when it came their turn ! It`s now "their turn" !
