What else can I say except I welcome all the material I can get in 2012:

Despite recent news reports of bizarre behavior and calls for his resignation, Rep. David Wu (D-Ore.) has filed for reelection.

Wu filed a statement of organization with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday to be able to run for his seat in 2012.

Two major Oregon newspapers and Oregon Republicans have been calling for Wu’s resignation after revelations, originally reported by The Oregonian, that Wu had been exhibiting strange behavior, including dressing in a tiger costume and sending emails to his staff in the voice of one of his daughters.

Wu’s re-election campaign has already been endorsed by the special interest group Cub for Growth

If this is the criteria, what about that guy in Washington who dresses up like a president an makes unconstitutional proclamations but ignores lawful proclamations of unconstitutionality.

    Anything come to mind??

    Anybody? Anybody?

Right, Obama needs a Mascot. Putin has the Tiger…I suggest a weazel.

Wait, I would NOT insult such a fine animal.

Is it someone who has a wife who thinks she can instruct everyone else on their eating habits and dietary choices while ignoring her own advise ? Do they also have two daughters who the press seem to allow their privacy and don`t hound at every turn, unlike they`ve done all other First Kids ?

    I don`t know, I got nuthin` ! Can you give us a hint ?

I can't thank Doug enough for propelling this story into the national limelight as much as possible! What further proof does the rest of the country need that Oregon has gone off a Deep BLUE cliff!?

And Wu won handily! On a seperate note, on Saturday myself and Mrs. Will met the Republican contender that ran against Wu last fall. John Kuzmanich. What a great, common sense, down to earth guy! His wife is absolutely wonderful.

Oddly neither were dressed up like A.A Milne characters. What has essentially unfolded ( or rather 'folded' ) in Oregon is… our State GOP. John was elected State Chairman for the OR Tea Party and our membership ( and my new task ) is growing by leaps and bounds!

John mentioned that at their very first "rally" about 11 people showed up. But at every meeting they always ask "How many of you have NEVER attended -any- kind of political rally before?" and it's amazing to note that while the 'crowd' grows ( still, 90%+ raise their hands! )

Sounds like you had a good time yesterday ! I was hoping you`d report in on it today ! Did it go well ?

I haven`t seen much detailing the "other" goofy stuff Wu has done, the Tigger suit is rather mild by itself !

  8. Marshall_Will on February 27th, 2011 7:28 pm

Oh.., btw, a few Repub. reps showed up ( largely embarrassed and humbled I suppose ) and the basic msg. was; "If you don't like what's going on with the OR GOP.., and would like to 'change' it, well then JOIN it!"

Yeah dude, been there done that. Every year it's like "Well.., we didn't get beaten 'nearly' as bad as we did 'last' cycle?" Great claim to fame guys. Meanwhile our state -continues- to be Liberal Lightening Rod attracting the lowest form of Lib-scum from coast-to-coast.

One young gal ( a student at PSU ) pointed out that Multnomah County "just so happened" to have 90,000 BLANK BALLOTS the day OF the last Election ( you know… "just in case"? ) Posters may not know but Oregon has been "Vote By Mail" for years! All it has proven to be is "An Invitation For Fraud".

Even w/ all the under handed tactics OR's lib flakes pull, we're still within striking distance. What we hope to create is a bluprint other -former- solidly CONSERVATIVE states can reclaim their state!

  9. Marshall_Will on February 27th, 2011 7:36 pm

Again, for those that may not have followed.., we didn't get our Oregon Gov. race results until WELL into the following day! Chris Dudley ( some of you may remember him as the former TrailBlazer back-up Center ) was LEADING our Dem-scum Kitzhaber right up until Multnomah counted their "ballots".

Well sh!t people. Now we're being forced into playing Liar's Poker. "Uh… 'how' many votes does the Repub. 'have'? Oh… well, we'll have Portland count LAST and that will tell us how many we'll have to tab on top?"

We are going ALL OUT to combat voter fraud this upcoming cycle. No more "cardboard box" drop off's for registering! We'd like to do away w/ "Fraud By Mail" too. We can DO this guys! We need to get these fraudster stories out to any news media outlet that will LISTEN! Have a great week. I'll be down at Guard. Have FUN!

Lame-O. lame-O. What a zero, pathetic hatchet job.

Maybe the guy needs to be replaced, but this is not why. There’s a glaring lack of any good reason. We don’t know what occasioned the costume, which over the years we’ve all donned on occasion.

And even though “…Wu went on ABC's Good Morning America on Tuesday and admitted that he is receiving counseling and taking medication. He has called his behavior "unprofessional and inappropriate…," but how does Mao’s daily behavior stack up against that definition?

It sounds far more likely that Wu is simply not voting according to the liking of the paper’s editor’s and hence the personal hatchet jobs.

One would think a by-lined reporter would know the difference between “email” and “voice mail”. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/house-races/1
