No wonder Michelle Obama went to Washington with the assumption that everybody was fat and lazy…

(CNSNNews.com) – The former home congressional district of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama ranks dead last in the United States for “healthy behavior,” according to the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index released this month.

Out of 436 districts measured by the Well-Being Index—including the 435 U.S. Congressional Districts plus the District of Columbia—the 1st Congressional District of Illinois ranked 436th for the “healthy behavior” of its residents in 2010. That was down from the district’s ranking of 408th for “healthy behavior” in 2009, which was Mrs. Obama’s first year as first lady.

Hmm… I wonder what high profile figure that district looked up to who might have served as a bad health example?

    A classic case of Progressives leading by example. And before the trolls shout the usual 'RACIST' I'd like to point out that the 1st District includes the University of Chicago and its not-quite-entirely-minority enrollment.

    Doug's linked article gives away the real 'skinny' though. Bammie's District was redrawn to you know, make things 'fair'.

    Ahem.., in defense of the Rust Belt scoring so poorly overall: This is called "having friends". Having friends means hanging out at the bowling alley, fishing and watching the game together. Unlike NY reps. that do solitary poses in front of the mirror for their Criagslist profile or DC Swamp Creatures that dedicate their lives to adding electonic zeros to their bank accounts?
