Just a few weeks ago, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. took to the House floor to suggest additions to the US Constitution that would help provide jobs for the unemployed in America’s inner cities.

One of those things that would lower the unemployment rate was a constitutional right to an iPad — I kid you not:

Fast forward the tape to this past week. Jackson Jr., again on the House floor, said that iPads — those things that just weeks ago he wanted included as a constitutional right of all Americans because they’ll help people find work — are now responsible for “eliminating thousands of American jobs.”

In other Jackson news, it sounds like Jesse Jackson Sr. is on the receiving end of discrimination allegations for a change. Not a lot of fun, is it Jesse?

A Jackson who DIDN`T flip-flop would be a more interesting story ! Some people`s ideas of what IS or SHOULD BE human rights never ceases to amaze me. That few of these people rarely show that they`ve thought through their claims of what is a "right" is also amazing and more than a bit off-putting !

That someone would accuse Sr of discrimination is chuckle-worthy ! I wouldn`t bet either way on it though !
