I didn’t think I could be made any less likely to ever watch Olbermann’s upcoming show on Current, but this news makes me somehow want to not watch twice as much:

Liberal news anchor Keith Olbermann has tapped filmmaker Michael Moore and comedian Richard Lewis as contributors for his upcoming Current TV program, the network said on Wednesday.

Olbermann’s contract negotiation with the noted anti-capitalist went like this:

Olby: A thousand bucks an appearance.

Moore: Two thousand!

Olby: Five hundred bucks, an autographed poster of Karl Marx and all the pizza you can eat.

Moore: Done!

I don’t know if this cable channel will sell advertising space but if they do it’s worth noting.

Remember these sponsors’ sympathies lie way past “the liberal left”, even past European socialism and over into the Marxist/Leninist realm.

Remember also that the, “oops, we didn’t know…” excuses won’t fly.

"I hope these talented individuals, and the others we are to announce in these weeks before the premiere on June 20 will give viewers a sense of the strength and depth of the franchise we're assembling," Olbermann added."

Are you freaking kidding us Doug? "Current" is barely one notch above public access TV. While unabashedly Soros-funded, the raw editing and one camera angle stuff comes off as being more hopelessly -hacked- than "uber-hip".

This must be The Left's media version of Old-Timer's Baseball. After all they have Ken Burns?

Either that or it means Olbermann's show will also be called "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

All the pizzas Michael Moore can eat? Olby would have been better off giving him the $2000.

They could make a ton of money by selling ad space on Michael More.

I would think you`d first have to have "some" enthusiasm in order to curb it !
