You’d think they’d have put a Volt in Obama’s bus tour motorcade for a little symbolic promotion of the most “green” administration ever. Maybe they were afraid the batteries would have drained somewhere between Moline and Bettendorf:

My favorite comment at YouTube is “funeral procession for the economy.”
It’s important to note that there used to be Volts in Obama’s motorcade. In the above video, see that space between the first wave of police cars and the actual motorcade? That was occupied by a bunch of Shriners driving Volts, but they got laid off two days ago.
Update: Those two $1.1 million buses were manufactured in… Canada.

They couldn't get enough Volts to charge the motorcade. There was too much resistance.
I don't care watt anybody else says, that's funny!
“funeral procession for the economy.”
As witnessed by tens and tens of people! Jeez, this video was shot in Blue-blue-BLUE Minnesota ( judging by the Fargo-esque commentary of the videographers? )
Can you imagine being P'bonius, coming to the window at the alert of a passing town only to find a handful more well-wishers than there are out in the farm fields?
All that fanfare ( and EXPENSE ) and for watt? Lovely weather there btw.
Did you notice that there were about as many MN State Troopers as well-wishers ? And there was more laughter than cheers. Also, the American Flags were scarce as hen`s teeth !
"Funeral procession for the economy"….goes well w/ "debt man driving".
I`m just curious: armored vehicles are really expensive, cars and limos can cost hunnards o thousands. Celebrity tour buses can cost well over a million bucks. How well armored and well appointed is this "non-campaign campaign America`s hearse" at only $1.1M ?

What you don't see is that in the lower lobe of that bus there's a team of GIs shackled to generators with Van Jones pounding on a drum:
"Battle Speed!" BOOMboomBOOMboom…
"with Van Jones pounding on a drum:
"Battle Speed!"
Yeah and Van's a pretty intimidating guy! Not. Too funny.

Looked like more. Always glad to read others comments and follow up. Otherwise I wouldn't have noticed there was an almost laughable response from those that turned out?
It struck me they were more curious to see the sPectacle than the pResident?
Also kinda of ironic – the title on the video: Obama At Zumbrota Ford
Ford – Not part of the government motors conglomerate – although I think they s*ck a little Dick Odummer now and then.
They were….absolutely ! sPectacle ….exactly !
Is that how GIs become "grunts" ?
