Who is better qualified to discuss getting horny over a candidate or potential candidate than the MSNBC host who considers Barack Obama and Cialis to be synonymous?

In this clip, Matthews puts up more straw men than a Nebraska corn farmer, one of them by implying that all Republicans are upset with their field of candidates. Honestly, I could be more thrilled, but that doesn’t mean I’m pining for Chris Christie to jump in. And I’m certainly not horny for him.

Matthews’ other comedy bit is the claim that “Republicans are desperate.” The only thing sinking faster than Obama’s poll numbers is the economy he’s been fundamentally transforming, his re-election chances are grim, ditto for many congressional Dems, their party just lost a New York seat they’ve held since the 1920′s, and Republicans are desperate?

***

As of about a month ago, 63% of Republicans in New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina were satisfied with GOP field, so it’s hardly fair to say most or all Republicans want Christie to enter the fray.

If the NJ Gov. does get in, Matthews just gave him a great bumper sticker idea: Honk if you’re horny for Christie.

Imus and Chris Wallace The GOP & The Theater Of The Absurd.

Mitt Romney can't poll above 25% that leaves 75% who want someone else for their Presidential nominee. Chris Wallace, made reference to the Republican base "Waiting For Godot". The play by Samuel Beckett, that is performed in the Theater Of The Absurd. The Republicans still haven't found who they're looking for.

Christy may be good for NJ and by NJ terms, maybe even New England standards, he` conservative … ish, but NOT by national standards. He`s too lib on taxes, anti-2nd amendment, pro-illegal alien and an islamo-coddler. Did I forget something ? I don`t care how obese he is, that`s his issue alone, AFAIC. He`s not tea party qualified !

Matthews shirley didn't intend on becoming a comedian.

No, the GOP buffet doesn't exactly blow up my pantaloons or even ruffle them a bit. But compared to Obumbo even the frank and beans (Romney) seems rather attractive. Of course, if Romney nabs it, I'll be staying home.

People are not excited about the current GOP field, because most of the field is lacking in Conservatism. Christie entering the race would not change that dimension one bit.

So THAT's what Chris Matthews wanted to say when his leg was tingling…

He was horney for Obama! I thnk there's a message here…to Obama. Chris is waiting!

The thought of Chris Matthews being horney is just about enough of a thought to ruin my lunch. As for Christie, SignPainter Guy said it very succinctly and right on target.

Nevertherless, I doubt if he'd take away our constitutional right to pursue happiness with being able to decide "WHAT FOOD WE CAN EAT!!!"

    Okay, sorry.

It was on MSNBC… so no one saw it.

Now that is a photoshop waiting to happen….Chris Matthews head on a "leg" dog's body.

I agree. Could you just see him in a debate: "That's none of your business". But then you have so-called conservatives drooling over him like Coulter.

  9. SignPainterGuy on September 29th, 2011 7:21 pm

Coulter changed somehow (back in the spring ?) in my estimation and not for the better. She was on Rush early this year gushing over Romney.

I meant to add to my first post that Christy is also pro big-labor.

Based on the polls that I've seen ,The Obama is still neck and neck with a couple Republican Candidates and ahead of the rest, even at the state we're in now. Heck, if the market is going up around election time, it would appear to me that he'll have a good chance of winning. So, I don't know if his chances are grim. And if he wins, I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to replace the 22nd amendment for bonus years.

Something tells me Barney Frank is Chrissy's favorite interview subject.
    It's just a hunch, though.
