What? No FTD “sorry we blew him up” bouquet?

From the Charlotte Observer:

An official from the U.S. State Department has called the Charlotte family of al-Qaida propagandist Samir Khan to offer the government’s condolences on his death in a U.S. drone attack last week in Yemen, according to a family spokesman.

“They were very apologetic (for not calling the family sooner) and offered condolences,” Jibril Hough said about the Thursday call from the State Department to Khan’s father, Zafar.

The phone call came a day after the family released a statement through Hough that condemned the “assassination” of their 25-year-old son – a U.S. citizen – and said they were “appalled” that they had not heard from the U.S. government to discuss their son’s remains or answer questions about why Khan was not afforded due process.

I’d have expected nothing less from a State Department that once Tweeted birthday greetings to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Aren’t things like this why the left so abhorred Bush and couldn’t wait to usher in the Age of Obama?

This issue is better discussed in terms of parts per million. The lower the parts per million the better. All of this touchy-feely talk undercuts the core message.

Are you saying body recovery efforts involved scoops and sponges ?

Shrillary Klinton`s very own State Dept. ? No real surprise there, seeing as she`s been a demoprog for a long time and a dhimmi prog for a decade at least.

Expect to see her name on the democrap pres. ballot next year. Capt. Zero is sinking the ship faster and more publicly than the dim party can tolerate !

No, I'm talking about sophisticated air sampling snifters and chemical analysis to establish the locations of where the bodies evaporated.

Too funny! We may never KNOW what kind of p0rn he was sp@nking it to when……………………….

    KABLAMMY!

The State Dept. was relieved however to inform the parents ( whom are not any kind of Watch List WHATsoever ) that no animals of any kind were injured maimed or mistreated in the blast.

Real potential my friend. Please… PLEASE run Shrillary you Democraps. She can no more distance herself from the pResident and/or his Progenda than Dennis Rodman can his herpes.

Our G[TP]O candidate can run a mainstream campaign and the Right Blogoshpere will make her wish she was back in the loving arms of Bubba. She'll be so glad to call it home only kicking out every 'other' one of his GF's will be necessary.

Doug, I thought about giving you a hard time for being out of contact watching a game when we needed ya, but I like you too much to compare you to the pResidunce, so I`ll tell you a joke I heard. Filed under: Things You Just Can`t Explain.

A farmer was milking his cow when, just as the pale was nearly full, the cow kicked the pale over with her left-hind foot. The farmer calmly tied her foot to the side of the stall and commenced milking again. Just as the pale was nearly full again. the cow kicked it over with her other hind foot. Again, the farmer grabbed a piece of rope and tied her foot to the side of the stall and went back to milking. This time, the cow knocked the pale over with her tail. There wasn`t anymore rope, so the farmer took off his belt and tied her tail to the stall wall. As he turned to resume milking, his pants fell down and just then, his wife walked in.

Things You Just Can`t Explain !

If Samir Khan had surrendered himself to authorities, he would be entitled to due process. Since he was in a motorcade with a known al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQIP) leader, (al-Awlaki), Khan knowingly accepted the probability of military action and his status as an enemy combatant.

While I don't minimize the family's grief (Khan was lost already), the US Government owes them nothing. They need to talk to Yemen about return of the remains.

    cynical,

Well said. The U.S can't omnisciently and magically 'grant' Due Process and infer it upon on parts uknown for individuals that are SEEKING to keep their whereabouts.., well, parts unknown.

What did Progs think was going to happen? They'd waltz into a courthouse and say "We're abandoning The Jihad and quietly turning ourselves in. A Public Defender should suffice. We'll accept our fate based on YOUR non-sharia compliant laws and spend the rest of our lives in prison"?
