Haven’t the peaceful Occupy Oakland protesters heard that Bank of America isn’t going to impose that $5 debit card fee?

Just like the Tea Party?

They also managed to shut down the Oakland shipping port. Just tell the protesters that the boats are delivering free Che Guevara t-shirts and they’ll let it open back up in no time. What’s the problem?

Didn’t the protesters hear Jay Carney’s request that they behave in a lawful manner? (nudge nudge)

Could Oakland’s “Occupy” supporting Mayor possibly be a bigger tool?

null

“Come on, looters, vandals and arsonists… call me and we can talk this through…” Either that or she wanted to tell them “good job.”

Say what you want, but the Oakland Mayor’s inaction has been swift and decisive.

No wonder there’s a recall movement under way. Oakland police aren’t thrilled with her either.

Some protesters are learning the hard way that you can’t surround a vehicle and threaten the driver without the risk of getting run over.

As the public’s tolerance for this crap continues to decline look for Dems to start backing off supporting it and for local politicians to take more aggressive action in dealing with the lawlessness.

Mayor Quan reminds me of those two lesbians who kept a chimp in their house as if it were a human and were shocked when it ripped the face off of one of them. You can't be nice to monsters. They are what they are.

    Group hug!

Dither, dither. I didn’t think I would have to make absolute decisions, ‘round and ‘round and 'round and 'round we go. What to do, what to do. Can't we just all get along?

Other than the violence leveled at the police and people caught in the crossfire, this actually has been pretty entertaining. I never dreamed that there were that many whackos out there. And that's not racist!

Most of those whackos are out-of-state professional rioters and they are probably someplace near you already. If not, they are a-coming. Are you then going to run away from your "whacko" state then? Can I then post comments about the whacko people who live in your nutty state?

This is happening all over the country. Parochial attitudes are fracturing the conservative movement. We need everybody focusing on the true enemy. CA and those of us who live here are not the enemy so give it a rest. It's just a cheap shot, like farting in church to get a cheap laugh.

Folks, have no fear … this is exactly the kind of *revolution* only a true pinko would undertake in an effort to take over our country. Scattered, haphazard, melodramatic, passionately misplaced anger doesn't win wars. After the once silent majority is through laughing, the gloves will drop just as quickly as the smiles.

Why isn't there a time limit for the protesters to camp in parks, etc.? They're disrupting the lives of law-abiding citizens.

  9. SignPainterGuy on November 4th, 2011 8:54 pm

Simple answer; they are leftists for whom the laws and standards we pee-ons must abide by simply do not apply !

Case in point: The OWSers were allowed to camp in a 9-space parking lot in Asheville,NC under a bridge until the state DOT forced Avl officials to move them, for no more than the fee for 1 space for one day; no liability ins. was required, no other assembly permits were required, the city even provided Port-a-Potties. The missed revenues to the city exceeded $2,000. just for the parking lot. They will not charge for the lost fees, nor force the OWSers to buy ins, or pay for the Johns, or any other permit fees, or the costs for police attention, and on and on ….

No one is under any illusions that a Tea Party group would be granted ANY of those considerations ! Nope, the TP has been required to adhere to ALL those requirements and has always met them here !

I read somewhere that the Tea Partiers are suing for that very reason. They had to shell out $10,000 and provide their own Port-a-Potties. I hope they win.
